Dr. Teri Baydar

Dr. Teri Baydar is a renowned coach, author, and thought leader in the fields of consciousness and personal growth. With decades of experience guiding high-potential individuals, she has earned the nickname “The CEO Whisperer” for her unique ability to lead clients through deep, transformative change.

As the CEO of White Lily Individual Development, LLC, and founder of the Love Conscious Human platform, Dr. Baydar challenges traditional leadership thinking by introducing a revolutionary perspective: shifting from War Consciousness to Love Consciousness can unlock not only personal growth but collective human potential.

In addition to her coaching expertise, Dr. Baydar holds a doctorate in Divinity in Metaphysics and has studied a wide range of energy modalities. Her deep understanding of the mental-emotional landscape — where thought, feeling, and energy intersect — allows her to guide individuals at an extraordinary level. Many of her clients, including CEOs and presidents, complement their leadership development with mind-body practices like Tai Chi, Yoga, Qigong, and meditation.

When it comes to consciousness, Dr. Baydar breaks it down into three parts: pure consciousness, war consciousness, and love consciousness. She explains that we are all born with access to all three, but social conditioning, life experiences, and education often push us toward war consciousness — a mindset marked by competition, division, and fear.

In her view, war consciousness is closely tied to left-brain thinking, which is rigid, black-and-white, and driven by an “either-or” logic: me versus you, right versus wrong, win or lose. In contrast, love consciousness is aligned with right-brain thinking: it is multidimensional, creative, flexible, and oriented toward collaborative, win-win outcomes. When we are trapped in war consciousness, we are not only divided from others, but also within ourselves.

In my recent interview with her, Dr. Baydar cited the “Bees and Locusts” metaphor for modern capitalism: Bee Capitalism fosters creativity, cooperation, and productivity, while Locust Capitalism feeds on exploitation, extraction, and short-term gain at any cost. According to Dr. Baydar, leaders rooted in Love Consciousness have the power to shift organizations and societies away from locust-like behaviors and toward harmonious, sustainable systems. She’s hopeful that younger generations are increasingly embracing this love-centered mindset.

One of the organizations embodying this shift is Founders Live, a nonprofit that supports entrepreneurs around the globe in creating solutions that enhance the environment, economy, and society — a perfect example of Love Consciousness in action.

Dr. Baydar’s expertise spans authentic leadership, behavioral economics, and navigating complex systems. Her approach has empowered countless individuals to break free from limiting beliefs and social constructs, ultimately cultivating better people, better businesses, and a better world.

Her book, Flip Your Switch, outlines a proven, actionable process for anyone ready to step into a higher state of consciousness. The book guides readers to:

  • Discover higher consciousness
  • Unlock inner leadership and influence
  • Recognize and overcome limiting systems
  • Build positive outcomes through a growth mindset
  • Break free from social conditioning
  • Think independently
  • Connect with their Daimon (inner higher knowing)
  • Develop confidence and self-reliance
  • Align with their evolutionary drive and true purpose

Flip Your Switch is more than a guide to personal growth — it’s a call to heal ourselves and the planet through conscious leadership.

As Dr. Baydar emphasizes, humanity stands at a critical crossroads. The consciousness you choose to embody will shape your life’s outcomes, while the consciousness we choose collectively will shape the future of the world.

She has been invited to speak at the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital (Boston, Massachusetts) on “Love Consciousness In Leadership: Shifting from Competitive, Fear-Based Thinking to a More Cooperative, Holistic Approach” on May 6, 2025. You can register to attend her talk here.
